Travel Tips: Share your travel memories!

We need your travel stories!
Since we can’t cross borders at the moment, reminiscing about past travel, harking back to our favorite journeys with family and friends, offers a welcome distraction to help us get through challenging times. We have heard from so many of our past travelers as this worldwide crisis has unfolded, and now, more than ever, we would love to hear from you again!
Spain Savvy is gearing up to kick off a new Spain Savvy Travel Memories blog series, designed to inspire our future and past clients to dream and galvanize one another, while engaging in our online community – here on our website, on Facebook and on Instagram. In these blog posts, we ask our previous clients to present their past Spain Savvy trips and bring their travel experiences and memories to life through writing, photos, videos, slideshows, and more. Spain Savvy will be happy to help you prepare your Travel Memories project.
If you traveled with children, we would love it if they contributed to the post as well – maybe with an original piece of art depicting their favorite part of the trip, or a short video recording. As homeschooling becomes a new reality for so many of us, we think this will make for a fun project for the whole family!
Our aim is to connect with our community to offer an innovative form of “armchair travel”. These posts will serve to inspire potential travelers in brainstorming for their own future trips, generate new bucket list items for both you and other adventurers, as well as helping you to organize those precious memories from your trips in a cohesive format. How many great photos and videos from recent journeys are still languishing on your phone or tablet? Celebrate them – we are confident that this project will be a lot of fun!
Here’s something even more rewarding – for the first three clients who sign up to participate in this blog series, we are thrilled to offer free passes to an online experience with our partner DEVOUR TOURS. Head to their website to check out the exciting online events they are offering for small groups, such as live cooking and wine pairing classes. We personally think the historical culinary tour of Portugal sounds amazing!
If you are interested in participating in the Spain Savvy Travel Memories series, please get in touch with us so we can begin to work on it with you. Even if you just have just one photo or story to share, we’ll be delighted to publish it!
Family memories

The father of this California family had to cancel the first few days of their graduation celebration trip at the last minute due to a work emergency, but he reached out to us clandestinely and we got to work immediately to orchestrate a surprise reunion for the family earlier than expected. It was a truly special and unforgettable moment for everyone involved!

A lifelong dream

Rani and Joel from Minnesota fulfilled a bucket list item of learning to dance flamenco while on their extended trip throughout Spain. Together with our flamenco expert Eva (currently offering online experiences!) – who breaks it down and makes this colorful art form truly come alive for our guests – they were able to learn about the music and dance so typical to Andalusia.

We thank you in advance for contributing to this exciting project that will see Spain Savvy continue to offer stimulating travel “experiences” for our clients – while staying home and feeling hopeful that one day soon, we WILL travel again.
Oh, and please know that It is NOT lost on us that you might be one of our clients who had to cancel/postpone their trip this year. If that’s the case, we want you to know about this new endeavor to keep you excited for your future travels.
Sending you all warm wishes from sunny Spain!
