Celebrating One Year of Spain Savvy
Here at Spain Savvy, we are coming up on one year of operation and are so pleased with how our project is turning out. Since our inception, we have served over 200 clients and there are many more on the horizon. It is truly a pleasure to be working so hard, every day, on something we are so passionate about. The results have been outstanding - you can read some of our client feedback on Google and on our Facebook page.
In honor of our first year anniversary, we are presenting a list of our closest collaborators on our ABOUT page. Our team is growing quickly and steadily, and we are proud to count on the high-quality assistance of the amazing people named here.
We also have a plethora of other partners working with our clients behind the scenes who we hope to tell you more about in our future blog entries.
As we grow, our founder Sarah is able to continue her focus on designing custom trips for luxury clients, as well as developing new products for curious travelers interested in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, including special groups. Stay tuned as we announce these new products and programs in the coming months.
For those of you interested in how Sarah came to launch Spain Savvy, here is the full story and a little more about her background. We also invite our clients to connect with her on LinkedIn.
At just 10 years old Sarah boarded a plane from hometown Boston for Guadalajara, Mexico to visit a school friend and began a lifelong love affair with the Spanish language, the Hispanic culture and all things travel.
Through her alma mater Connecticut College, Sarah was able to spend two semesters studying abroad in Spain with the idea of perfecting her Spanish and learning flamenco.
Little did she know, she was slowly becoming enchanted by the city of Seville and would ultimately move here permanently in 2004, embarking on a career in cultural travel. Since then, she has been sharing her personal discoveries with travelers of all ages and backgrounds.
Today, she brings to Spain Savvy her strong work ethic, high attention to detail, a true passion for travel planning, and the ambitious vision to make Spain THE premier destination for discerning travelers.
Sarah spends her free time enjoying nature and traveling with her Spanish husband and three children. She is an amateur foodie and loves to keep up with the restaurant scene in Seville, as well as cooking traditional meals at home.
We hope you will travel with Spain Savvy soon!
